artificial lift consulting/training.

Since 2006, Jeff has received hands-on training with Sam Gibbs, Ph.D. and Ken Nolen, P.E. (former owners of Nabla Corp.).

Jeff has an excellent knowledge of the fundamental behaviors and interactions of all the components of the beam pumping system, from the prime mover to the pump. He is an expert user of predictive design and analysis software, including SROD, DIAG, NWA, RODSTAR-V, RODSTAR-D, XROD, RODDIAG, XDIAG, and XBAL.

In addition to having years of experience in the field weighing wells, shooting fluid levels, and writing up detailed well analyses, Jeff also has international experience in providing technical consulting, analysis, and artificial lift training courses. He has consulted in the United States, Canada, South America, Russia, and the Middle East. He has also taught over 100 domestic and international schools (with over 1500 students) explaining the theory, application, and best practices of artificial lift, focusing on optimization, design software, and analysis.

Since 2006, Jeff has received hands-on training with Sam Gibbs, Ph.D. and Ken Nolen, P.E. (former owners of Nabla Corp.). These gentlemen are two of the world’s best and most highly regarded artificial lift (and in particular rod pumping) experts. This has increased his learning curve exponentially. Daily interaction with both Sam and Ken in the classroom and in the field has given him a preparation that no one else in the industry possesses. He now has developed a unique ability to converse with and train engineers, software programmers, well technicians, and lease operators.
